FLORIAN JAYET AW11 Collection at London FAshion Week

Fashion Mode mentors new designers each a year and helps them launch themselves on to the catwalk.  This year it was the turn of French designer Florian Jayet.

Florian states: “The focus was to create a fetish wardrobe that a woman can keep forever, bringing them out on special occasions when she needs to be propelled into confidence and strength”.

Obviously lots of leather was involved in this collection.

Loved the skinny high waisted leather trousers with exterior stitching from knee to ankle creating a crumpled effect, and teamed with a padded white top.

The key piece was the brown tweed capelet with conical leather shoulders and matching leather pencil skirt.

Softening the collection were the white and black body con dresses

and floor length skirts with their stitched graphic patterns giving a padded futurist look to classic styles.
