Paula Knorr AW18 at London Fashion Week

PAULA KNORR's AW18 collection plays with the impact of intimacy and sensuality in female dressing.

Womenswear today ranges from extreme nudity to demure precision. Inspired by this freedom, Knorr creates a collection that showcases her own vision of what empowered and sensual dressing can be today.

The collection features body-hugging silhouettes throughout; highlighting Knorr’s signature cutting techniques as she transforms evening dresses into comfortable yet powerful designs.

The collection combines luxurious fabrics with dramatic shapes and strives to push the boundaries of eveningwear with hints of power dressing incorporated.

Wrapped turtleneck, sequin gowns and mini-dresses in velvet printed tulle

are mixed with voluminous wool trousers and tunics.

Materials include glossy metallics, soft wools and heavy sequins; all of which intensify the sensual feel of the collection.

Strong, bold reds and silver sit in contrast to

blush blues to create a strong but sensual colour palette.

Jewellery: Rathel & Wolf
Footwear : Topshop
Photographer: Daniel Fraser

For her AW18 presentation, Knorr collaborates with experimental Jazz singer Laura Totenhagen who transforms empowering poems into music. Her live performance together with a strong and diverse mix of models, exclusively cast from Linden & Staub, celebrates female sensuality and power throughout. Video here:
