Emerging Fashion Designer Sade English launches Daphne 13 Collection

Just graduating from London College of Fashion, emerging fashion designer Sade English shows her first collection during London Fashion Week.


The collection shows a play on textures using black PVC - smooth and shiny against matt and padded.



For the style and design, Sade was inspired by traditional mosque architecture and ancient warrior armour. The sleeves on the above jacket fold armadillo style like armour plates overlapping.


Not meant to conform to the stereotypes set by the fashion industry, the garments reinvent society's vision of beauty by triggering the wearer into accepting their inner self.

Last night saw the winners of the inaugural Dulux Let's Colour Awards announced at a glittering ceremony which rewarded the most original and exciting uses of colour in the creative industries and beyond. The event was held at the Fashion & Textile Museum and hosted by fashion commentator and esteemed journalist Hilary Alexander.




SISTER by Sibling picked up the Best use of Colour in Fashion and Beauty award for its womenswear launch displaying outlandish colour clashes 





Writer and editor of fashion blog, Style Bubble, Susie Lau was announced as this year's Colour Ambassador - a prize which honoured her dedication to championing young designers and inspiring others through her bold and colourful fashion choices.
