Award Winning Students of Winchester School of Art BA Fashion Show

The Winchester School of Art’s BA FAshion Design & Knitwear Graduate Fashion Show took place on the 25th May at The Vinyl Factory where milliner extraordinaire Noel Stewart presented the awards to two standout students.

As the show ended he took to the catwalk to present the WSA Fashion Textile Award to:

 The collection is of luxury pieces focused around themes of empowerment, equality and sustainability and is a combination of sportswear and knitwear that truly stands out with its unique aesthetic.

 The second award to be presented was the WSA Fashion Direction award and went to:

Wu's collection was of redefined silhouettes. His designs contained graphic prints and bold bright colours as well as approaching and breaking down the conventional way of dressing.

The Winchester School of Art’s Graduate Fashion Show 2017 took place on the 25th May at The Vinyl Factory.

An evening full of talent, the show had 200 attendee’s including key industry and press contacts as well as WSA alumni and students.

 The graduating class of 2017 is a testament to the name of make future as they consistently deliver outstanding collections and many of the graduates go on to work with companies such as Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Erdem and WGSN to name a few.

FUUD SS17 Collection - Glasshouse


Glasshouse draws inspiration from Tokoyo cityscape in particular the architectural work of Frank Gehry. Halswell, from her travels was inspired by the extreme culture and this combined with her love for geometric style and prints – fused with the attitude of the 80s.


FUUD collaborates with Australian graphic designer George Barnes. These can be seen in a series of casual silhouettes in the form of thick jumpers, light-weight one-pieces and vibrant joggers, elevating the label to the next level.
