Emilio de la Morena SS17 - London Fashion Week

Drawing heavily upon his Spanish heritage for inspiration, Emilio explores the rich traditions of Spanish costume design from construction techniques and silhouettes to their intricate fabric details and how this varies from the southern to northern regions of Spain.

Fitted bodies with puffed sleeves sit alongside......


structured jackets featuring exaggerated peplums inspired by couture garment construction techniques from Valencia.

Colour palette: a rich and vibrant palette of fuchsia, tangerine and turquoise

 Fabrics: Stretched silk, pleated chiffon and ruched luxury cotton.

Some embellished with hand made clay beads offering an added element of texture.

Traditional ladylike accessories have been modernised to complement the collection and include vibrantly coloured shoes inspired by Las Fallas Festival in Valencia.

Ong Oaj Pairam SS17 - London Fashion Show


For SS17, Ong's inspirations take you on a great American road trip from the Wild West to the Deep South and finishing off at the Grand Canyon.


He looks to the empowering female country singer from Dolly Parton to Shania Twain.

Delicate ultra feminine fabrics and colourways of silk and organza in vintage floral prints


sitting happily alongside rodeo approved suede and ponyskin in Dolly Parton pink,


Pairam's signature handmade flower appliques adorn a denim jacket and the layers on a pale pink bustier dress


Key Looks include:
Showgirl fringed and beaded cocktail dress with the beads positioned in a country gingham pattern.


Statement leopard print jumpsuit with lace embellished pockets and shoulders. In true Pairam's style the leopard print isn't all what it seems. Look closely and you'll see silhouettes of cacti amongst the animal print.


and candy sweet Prairie dress.

There is also a nod to David Hockney's painting 'Grand Canyon' with key colours of sunset red, midnight blue, cactus green and burnt orange

with the natural desert formations seen as cascading ruffles and frills on an evening dress.

Barrus SS17 - London Fashion Week

For SS17 the main inspiration comes from the renowned works of Gustav Klimt.

Klimt's distinct spherical lines are recreated with voluminous draping.


His rich textures are brought to life in jewel tones of bronze and rose gold.



The collection embraces femininity with an innovative take on East meets West .


Turkish international model Tulin Sahin opens and closes the show. Tulin was crowned by Allure as one of the top 50 models in the world.



Slimline silk, French lace and delicate chiffon are contrasted with

heavily embellished sequins

 and voluminous pleated ruffles for a distinctively elegant silhouette.

Barrus also remains true to the brand's origins continuing it study in to the old Turkish art of marbling throughout the collection,


Fine silks are in an array of colours mirroring the signature colour palette that Klimt is best known for.

Ollari SS17 - London Fashion Week

Titled ' The Tulum Desert  Collection' , the show was held at the Amba Charing Cross hotel in London as part of the Fashion International Showcase.

Inspiration came from an eclectic merge of the style of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and the vibrant culture of Mexico's Tulum ruins.

The collection is a cohesive array of saturated candy colours ,indigenous beadwork and bold tropical patterns and linen yarn dyed stripes..


Features are sassy ruffle hems, cutout placements and heavily tribal motifs.
