F&F AW15 Womenswear Show

F&F showed a preview of their AW15 collection at the plush Savoy hotel in London.
Womenswear returns to retro spanning late 60s to the early 70s.

This season, signature styles of the 1970's era are given an exquisite feel. Textures are nostalgic with the resurgence of suede, shearling and patch work,

Tailored culottes, jackets and a trench arrive in real suede leather with the look of crushed velvet.

There is further focus on contrasting textures with chiffon dresses worn with lightweight knitted roll necks.

Colour palette is very 70's with clashing pinks, berrys, rust and buttery camels with pops of orange and teal .

Outerwear features a bohemian shearling jacket in camel hues,

Faux fur accents are a strong accessories trend in striking stoles

Layering is key with high waisted trousers, shrunken jackets, pussy bow blouses creating a vintage inspired look.

Shift dresses create a fun late 60's look

Silhouettes are enhanced with the addition of a clean leg boot in rich wintery tones or a paired down fringe loafer.

The top handle shoulder bag further anchor the 70's inspiration.

LET’S COLOUR AWARDS 2015

The Dulux Let’s Colour Awards took place at The Magazine Restaurant – a stunning venue designed by award winning architect Zaha Hadid.
The Awards celebrated impactful and innovative uses of colour and design over the past year. The contemporary awards trophies were of a semi circular design and a different colour for each category.

Scottish fashion designer, Jonathan Saunders, was awarded with the Contribution to Colour award for a lasting contribution of bringing colour to people’s lives.
