Donna Lee Designs  SS13 collection is titled  'Secret Garden' with each dress named after a flower, some wild and carefree, others more structured and cultured. Which flower will you choose?

Love in the Mist - ballgown in silk dupion with full dramatic tulle skirt

Camellia - silky satin low backed gown with Swarovski encrusted lace. In ivory or white.

Laurel - silk tulle gown. Available in peach or pale ivory

Environmentally Friendly Chic Bridalwear 2013 - Sanyukta Shrestha

Sanyukta Shretha 2013 bridal Collcetion is titled 'Wallis In Love' and is inspired by the iconic Wallis Simpson.

Wallis dress – high neckline with a split bust line. organic silk with full bamboo silk lace sleeves. A delicate circular broach under the small collar compliments a bold keyhole back with scalloped edging of lace.

Alice dress- hemp silk strapless wedding gown with sweetheart neckline, simple boned bodice and A-line skirt.  Shown here with Alice Overlay – high neck, long sleeved silk tulle overlay with Chantilly lace detailing and delicate buttons at the back.  

Anne dress

Anne dress – raw silk gown with high neck revealing a v-back. Pleating detail over the bodice with fishtail skirt. Sparkle from art deco inspired brooch on the centre of waistband.

Bessie dress

Bessie dress – high neckline and short hemline. Silk pleated detailing covers the upper bodice and full length sleeves with long contrasting cuffs finished with buttons.

Bridal Fashion 2013 - Anoushka G’s Around The World Collection

For 2013,  Anoushka G’s  couture bridal collection takes us around the world.

The Beach

Beach weddings are more relaxed and carefree, although this doesn’t mean the bride is any less glamorous or beautifully turned out than the country or city brides.

But you do need a dress that will not look out of place when you walk barefoot along the beach or dip your toes in to the blue lagoon.  Plus look for light fabrics that won’t wrinkle and will pack easily for your flight to paradise. 

Cygnetta bride – with feathered detail which will ruffle in the breeze, the draped skirt mimics the movement of water and the sparkle detail around the empire line will twinkle in the sunshine.

Sonia – the encrusted detail bodice will sparkle in the sunlight..The soft tulle opens at the front to billow in the breeze and to reveal the liquid satin silk gown underneath like the surface of a shimmering lagoon.

Jena bride – light and airy and ready to billow dramatically in the breeze. Great beaded tie back. 

Angelina – For the more classic Greek Goddess style.Always a good style for a beach wedding.

South America

Think fiesta and carnival but here there is no need to inject the bright colours as the frills and detailing of these ivory dresses conjures up a colourful party.

Jolianna bride- short flared skirt with frills just right for those latin dances. Here with a touch of dramatic red accessories .

Chica – a real carnival feel with sequined swirl patterns and wispy feathers and that sexy low cut backline. Maybe too long for salsa but great for the tango as the first dance with your new husband.

Kimberly – Glamour all the way with sparkling sequins in a celestial pattern, dramatice bell sleeve and asymmetrical neckline.

Japan

It's Cherry Blossoms, long kimono style sleeves , wide obi style sash bands and pattern detailing

Tamae – fishtail corded lace dress. The wide sash mimics the obi belt with the large bow at the back  instead of the traditional obi folds. More structured, feminine and demure the fishtail style restricts the bride to take smaller steps as that of the geisha.

Sumi – front split corded lace is a simple tailored design allowing the opulence of the embroidered detailing of the lace overlay and the sumptuous silk satin underneath to quietly take centre stage.

Loucia – The sparkling cherry blossom beaded design provides the glamour and glitz with the soft tulle bringing softness especially the diaphanous kimono style elbow length sleeves. Plus you can see the gorgeous lace back of the Sumi dress in the background

Marlena bride – this beaded kaftan dress shows a more relaxed style with its diaphaonous wide kimono sleeves. But there's still glitz with the crystal embellishments and large satin bow.  The deep V backline of the Loucia can be seen in the background.

New York in the 1920s

This was the roaring twenties and the Jazz Age when prohibition sent everyone underground to party.

Hazel – the front is elegantly simple with pearl embellishment on the cap sleeves, but for this dress it's all about the back. And for a bride's dress the back is on show for most of the wedding service. The low cowl back is so on trend for the 20s style evening gowns and the cascading ruffles make sure this dress is a show stopper.

Chantel – Art Deco was all the rage for designs in everything from architecture to trinkets and this beaded diamonti trim shows the clean lines of the style. The back design draws a  low waistline which was in vogue for those flapper dresses.

London in the 1950s when our young Elizabeth ascended the throne.

This era brought the ladylike look with matching gloves, handbag and shoes. The style was either the wide full circle skirt or the tailored shift dress usually with matching coat.

Audrey – short lace fit and flare full circle skirt. For the lady with a wild rock 'n roll side.

Elizabeth – every inch a lady in this guipure lace dress and matching light lace coat.

Our journey ends in romantic Venice - home of beautiful lace and secret masquerade balls.

Rania – Venetian lace dress with wide cape like sleeves and beaded embellishments

Donna – appliquéd flower bodice with tulle ball gown skirt - instead of the veil, wear a mask for a masquarade ball themed wedding
