Gianmarco Lorenzi Autumn/Winter 2011 Shoe Collection

For the AW11 collection, Gianmarco Lorenzi took inspiration from the strong but ultra feminine icons of the 70s/80s such as Jane Fonda and Lauren Hutton.
This strong but ultra feminine look shows clearly in:

A classic stiletto pump in black patent leather on a high wooden platform with layers of silver chains.

A soft Nappa leather open toed ankle boot decorated with a double ruffle layer whilst above is a row of silver studs, ball studs at the back and pyramid studs at the front.

Reminiscent of Jane Fonda’s Barbarella is the 70s sci-fi take of this open toed ankle boot in metallic leather adorned with mini golden discs.

These pale golden discs are also found on a strip of pale grey suede down this elegant black suede platform ankle boot.

Other ankle boots are more glam rock with rows of pointed studs around the ankle area, mini metal equestrian stirrups and metal edged platforms.

BLACK LABEL COLLECTION
Just when you think his shoes can't get any more glamorous or luxurious, he raises the bar higher with his limited edition Black Label collection.  Here the shoes are only distributed to a few stockists worldwide. Each pair is handmade and numbered.  The finest materials are used and with Swarovski crystals applied by hand.

This t bar platform sandal is a mix of black and violet Swarovski crystals encrusted on violet satin.
The glamorous rock chic look with its bondage style straps is given a girly touch in the shape of a large satin flower. But to bring back the stronger look the flower has a hard black and red centre.

This lace embroidered ankle boot is like a sculptural art form.

The white Swarovski crystals on the top of this bright blue lace ankle boot appear like an iceberg above the water.
But then take different colourways and you get different results:
The coal black lace boot with red Swarovski crystals appearing as rising flames.
Midnight black lace boot with galactic blue twinkling stars
Emerald green forest lace boot with floating pink dust hovering above

Covered totally in a mix of blue, white and violet round beads and crystals, this stiletto sandal has a glamorous Bohemian chic look with its shaggy fringed front.
