Pam Hogg AW18 at London Fashion Week

Titled: 'The Eternal Return of the Goddess', Pam Hogg's AW18 collection celebrates the strong independent woman.

She's non aggressive; she doesn't need to be as she feels powerful and is confident in her own skin whether it is adorned in Dominatrix style black sheer tulle and pvc .....
Or the lighter carnival look with colourful pom poms

Tartan was given a touch of rodeo cowboy style with gold fringing

The most wearable pieces were the colourful belted coats  trimmed with black piping.

Video of the finale walk:

Pam Hogg has had a gender-as-performance theme to her works since the 80s, culturally expressing gender as a choice, not a biological given, since long before there was any feminist controversy over or even interest in the matter.

"I accept everyone for who they are, and who they say they are. It's the individual's right to make that choice and no one else's"

Pam Hogg SS13 Collection

It’s ShowTime!Pam Hogg’s pieces are not the most wearable for your average girl in the street, but that doesn’t mean her collection is not to die for.

Titled ‘Save Our Souls’ the show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout started with a model clad in bandages followed by nurses flimsily dressed to give any man a heart attack.

The style changed to a combination of futuristic nurse and air hostess look with zips galore....

, and from clinical white to a rainbow of metallic colours.

There was also a bit of the Showgirl glitz with sequins and tulle.

At the end it was Hogg’s love of the Victorian crinoline skirt that wowed everyone. Here in its skeletal state baring all that is underneath.

Save our souls? I think we’re doomed.

Pam Hogg AW12 Catwalk collection at London Fashion Week

The show started quite innocently.....

..... with a modern take on the sweet crinoline bow peep style dress and bonnet in a bold geometric pattern.

Then the catsuits came out to play – first in the same head to toe geometric patterns and still with the bonnet.

Then in  colour palette of monochrome with  a sci fi  metallic silver. Panels of transparent chiffon crept in to the designs.

The crinoline dress also changed to monochrome and silver.

Fur trim appeared in both the silver catsuit and the crinoline dress, with a flash of red . High collar on the catsuit replaced the bonnet

Metallic gold  and copper came in to the mix . The Bonnet extended outwards in a conical shape concealing more of the face. The skirt became more fluid without its crinoline cage.

The catsuits became risque with more chiffon panels appearing.

Until they practically took over the outfit.

Actress Jaime Winstone contrasted among the sleek catsuits as she modelled a  knitted polo neck jumper and matching crinoline skirt.

An ethereal chiffon 'nightdress' looked innocent enough until the model walked down the runway to reveal the back.

And the finale outfit was of daring red ribbons and bows.
