MARKUS LUPFER X DISNEY COLLECTION
Knitwear maestro Markus Lupfer has been rooting through the
Disney archives to dream up a collection of Mickey Mouse fronted takes on his
trademark sequin pieces.
Reflecting the DNA
of the Lupfer brand and the designer’s unique and artful approach to
everyday basics, the unmistakable ears of Mickey sit upon the luxury of 100%
merino wool and soft cotton in the five piece line.
The classic illustrations from the hands of Walt Disney –
now graphically hand-crafted onto each garment in colourful sparkle – represent
the spirit of wit and playfulness Lupfer
wanted to bring to the collaboration.
Ralph Lauren Pre-Spring Collection 2016
Ralph Lauren present their Pre-Spring Collection 2016.
Commenting on the collection Mr Lauren said:
"For my Pre-Spring 2016 Women's Collection, I was inspired by a modern simplicity--the geometrics of black and white, the graphic boldness of black and tan, the fresh refinement of black denim, and the sporty sophistication of equestrian shapes in suede’s and leathers. It's a way of dressing for the woman whose allure is defined by her own personal style."

Jaeger Launch their AW15 Campaign - Photography by David Bailey
This season, Jaeger celebrates the multi faceted lives of
contemporary women by choosing the inspirational model, actress and
philanthropist Elisa Sednaoui-Dellal as the face of its AW15 campaign.
The images shot by legendary photographer David Bailey
perfectly capture the timeless style of this thoroughly modern muse.
“To represent a really quintessential British brand as a new
Londoner means so much to me” says Elisa who was born in Egypt, raised in Italy
and now considers London her young family’s home. “ The brand encapsulates
effortless English elegance; a love for quality, for enduring clothes that go
further than the trend of a season. These are pieces you’ll have and wear
forever.”
In the striking images Elisa wears a Jaeger camel hair coat,
which had been updated with a wider lapel and finely crafted details such as
stab stitching. (top image)
Deconstructed tailoring features too – a boiled wool grey
melange gilet is paired with cashmere polo neck and....
....; a rib cape sweater is layered
over crisp white shirting. These are British made clothes that are both classic
and refreshingly ageless.
The AW15 collection focuses on luxurious must-haves, a great
proportion of which are made from noble natural fibres including cashmere,
camel hair and alpaca.
Fashion powerhouse Superdry and Elite Model Look announce the UK’s freshest new model.
Last night, Elite Model Look and Superdry hosted one of the most successful modelling competitions of the year in pursuit of finding the freshest new model in the UK.
Now in its 7th year running, it’s the first time Superdry has teamed up with Elite Model UK as their official Fashion Partner.
Ten finalists took to the catwalk at Superdry’s flagship store, Regent Street, to showcase the latest Superdry Collection in front of a panel of judges, which included fashion experts from the teams at Elite, Superdry and, fashion designer, TV personality and Elite Model Look UK ambassador, Oliver Proudlock.
Fashion advocates, bloggers and editors were among some of the many guests who were entertained with beats from Femme while sipping on uniquely mixed Perrier based cocktails.
As well as showcasing the highlights from Superdry’s AW15 collection on the catwalk leading fashion influencer Sarah Mikaela from style blog Framboise Fashion worked closely with the Superdry styling team to add her unique take on two of the looks displayed on the catwalk.
The competition was tough but after a series of catwalk looks, the winners were announced as Chris Tydings and Charlotte Corn who will go on to compete for the UK at the Elite Model Look World Final in November held in China.
Charlotte Corn “We did the finale and we walked up and I was second, and they announced the Superdry winners, and Elllie was announced and I was so happy of her, and then our names were announced and I didn’t know what to do, I was just kind of standing there. I was just kind of in shock but so excited for China.”
The stiff competition meant that two extra surprise winners were also announced as Kofi Morris Heather and Elli Jordan who will both feature in the next Superdry collection campaign.
Elli Jordan “I heard my name, and then I was doubting it was my name, is that actually me it was just really weird and I was getting so emotional"

BELSTAFF PRE-SS16 WOMENSWEAR
Taken from the archive pieces from the 1930’s the original rainproof
coat for motorcycle riders has been reinterpreted in two lengths for women,
both keeping with the classic Strom coat style. While the elemental details
remain the same Belstaff has revised the volume and swapped the buttons for silver
snaps.Quilted waistcoats come zipper fronted with a rib collar and in a variety of spring colours plus in a conceptual camo print evoking Belstaff’s military heritage.
Another expansion of the Ryder style is the shorter more relaxed Colonel, incorporating a technical drawstring with toggles round the waist and a flap.
Incorporating modern sportswear elements is a key feature of this
collection with direct references to surfing and diving fabrications a well as
body contours.
Leather has been perforated and reimagined in a scuba style shape – as in a 60s inspired scooter jacket and in places comes bonded
with neoprene.
Patterns and prints have a nautical inspiration. Lines in the sand left
at low tide have been used to provide a subtle wavy pattern through quilts,
waxes and leather.
Patchwork of soft pastel blues from royal and navy to turquoise and
ultramarine
Delineated broken shared print with references watery reflection
