The English Heritage trend at online boutigue Fashion Union

Another AW10 trend www.fashionunion.co.uk are intoducing is English Heritage.

ENGLISH HERITAGE
This is always a good Autumn/Winter trend as it involves lots of warm fabrics such as tweeds, cords and knitwear to keep you cosy during the cold months.
The main colour palette for the English Heritage look are earthy muted tones, so this season you have the added bonus of looking super trendy if you combine this look with the hottest colour of the season : camel.
This look is one of the most comfortable to wear:

They have stretchy cord stirrup treggings in stone.
And stretch skinny fit jodpurs in mocha - not a button or zip in sight. Also loving the elasticated waist cord mini skirt in chocolate- team with their chocolate leggings or glam it up with their purple diamond opaque tights.
Flat or low heels are best. Combine the other top trend of buckles with the brown or taupe Horizon buckle boot.
Or be super patriotic with Union Jack wellies.
Layering is key with button back polo top in chocolate......
.... batwing pocket knits in oatmeal marl.....
......., roller gilet in red, taupe or white.......
......., and the khaki or blue Ava Parka.
Satchels are a big trend for handbags this season. Longer shoulder straps allow you to wear crossed over the body (also safer)

Online boutique Fashion Union shows Gothic Lace as one of their AW10 trends

We've shown you www.fashionunion.co.uk's Modern Military and Chunky Knits look for A/W10.
Now it's the turn of Gothic Lace.

GOTHIC LACE
This trend is all about dark moody colours and vintage look lace.
Here we see the new bodysuit top trend in figure hugging black lace.
Leggings are designed with sexy black lace panels.
Treggings come in a lace print and tops have black lace inserts.
Corsets in black lace panels keep the underwear as outerwear trend alive.
And body con dresses are softened in black or cream lace.
Belts also don’t escape with the Dita belt covered in black or purple lace.
And loving the lace print wellies in pink/black or black/grey.

Non lace items include black velvet trim seamed jeggings, black stud zip jersey cardi and a velvet stud bow bag.

And if you're like me and too much black drains your complexion (and definitely not in the sexy goth way) then there is the softer and more feminine option of the faded greys. Here we see a vintage inspired black/grey lace overlay dress, a metallic stud bag and grey slash stud heels.

Online boutique Fashion Union introduces another section of their AW10 collection

We've shown you the Modern Military look from www.fashionunion.co.uk. Now introducing another of their  autmn/winter 2010 trend collection is Chunk Knits.

Chunky Knits
Here you can combine two trends together with the military style long cardi in black or brown.

It is also a good transitional look for the summer wardrobe, teamed with the military style boots, clogs or biker boots, the knits will give a harder edge to those nude chiffon summer florals.

Other on trend looks are the Fair Isle pattern trimmings and the chunky cable rib giving the Après ski look, and the Peruvian prints for a bolder look.

Long tunics look great teamed with skinny jeans or treggings and bring out your lighter fun side with their quirky single images of bows, Persian cats, Russian dolls or studded with ‘Rock’ and ‘Lo-ve’.

Colours: Autumn berry shades add a shot of colour to the neutral greys, whilst the must have colour camel complements the warm cosy feel of the knits.

Knits this season don’t stop at cardigans, sweaters and accessories but cover dresses, tunics and wraps –it’s all about layering and textures.

Fashion Union tip: snuggle up with a slim fitting polo and luscious chunky knit layers from head to toe

Another autumn/winter 2010 trend includes Faux Fur . Fashion Union combines these two hot trends together with the fur knit gilet.

Online boutique Fashion Union introduces their AW10 Collection

www.fashionunion.co.uk is one way to buy the latest trends in the comfort of your own home and at any time of day or night– so no wearing out your shoes or rushing around conscious that you are running out of time before the shops close. Plus with no expensive overhead costs of retail outlets they are able to reflect these savings on to the prices, so bringing a range of fashionable clothes which are not only bang on trend but good value for the money.

They even help you check out the trends with their monthly style guide magazine: bringing clothes and accessories together on the same page to show you how to wear them; providing a few helpful style tips, showing how to work those tricky trends, and showing a few chosen garments side by side with their catwalk counterparts.

Their AW10 collection draws its inspiration from the streets of Paris to combine chic and style with the hottest looks seen on the AW10 catwalks. And one of the trends is Modern Military:

Modern Military
Sharper and smarter with the new variations of cropped slim jackets.
Military tunic style sleeveless dress cuts a sharp slim figure with its square neckline and button detailing down the front.
Colours khaki, navy, mocha and black with bronze/antique gold embellishments
The military coat is given a softer and more feminine look in pale pink and white.
Highlight of the modern military is of course the must have Aviator jacket. Here it can be seen in a relaxed soft shape or the more structured traditional biker style – both with faux fur lining.
Fashion Union tip: soften sharp military jackets with military button jeggings and a casual military slouchy tee.

Will introduce other Fashion Union trends in future blogs so watch this space.
