Sneak peek at the new Designer Eyewear Collections for Specsavers

 Specsavers have a host of designer eyewear to choose from. Here is a small selection:


Karl Lagerfeld - 24 styles for men and women, the range has a classic twist coupled with urban glamour.

Acetate is combined with high tech features and functional metal details, such as the Super K signature hinge and use of metal logos. Colour palette includes glossy transparent gradients.


John Rocha has designed a 13 piece eyewear collection......


..... with vibrant colours, textures and luxurious temple embellishments.


Danish fashion designer Jorgen Simonsen collaborates with Osiris eyewear......


......adding twists to the traditional cats eye and aviator shapes.

Karl Lagerfeld - new fragrance for women

Karl Lagerfeld has brought out two new fragrances: one for  Women and for Men These duo fragrances were designed to complement each other.

The women's fragrance is an elegant green floral fragrance created by perfumers Christine Nagel and Serge Majoullier
Top notes of fresh lemon and peach
 Heart is a bouquet of roses, magnolias and plumeria
Base notes of musk and dark amber
EDP 85ml £65; 45ml £46 and 25ml £32
The contemporary designs of the bottles are geometrically exact and emulating the collar of Karl’s favourite shirts, a large metal ring sits beneath the caps. The bottles come in an embossed box that echoes the metal ring. Using white for the women’s fragrance and black for the men’s, each box is lined with the repeating tone on tone motif of Karl’s silhouette.

Karl Lagerfeld Interviews Himself- watch the video


Karl Lagerfeld debuts a series of self-interviews called Face-to-Face by NET-A-PORTER, which will soon feature other designers and some of the fashion world’s key personalities.

UNIQLO 'Save Japan!' Charity T-Shirts

UNIQLO has worked with Conde Naste Japan (publisher of Vogue Japan and GQ Japan) to create a series of charity t-shirts featuring messages of encouragement from fashion designers, singers and actors around the world. Here's a few:

UNIQLO will donate 100 million yen (approx £750,000) through the sale of Save Japan! T-shirts to the Japanes Red Cross society.
