Spring 2012. LACOSTE L!VE. Unconventional talents. Brooklyn, New York

This Spring/Summer season LACOSTE L!VE introduces you to real New York talents. Street tape artist Aakash Nihalini, Amanda Warner from the electro duo MNDR and Leyla Safai from the punk hip hop group HeartsChallenger are at the heart of this season’s campaign.






Shot by American photographer Mark Hunter, a.k.a. the Cobrasnake, the print campaign was street casted in Brooklyn and features artist Aakash Nihalani and his graphic street tape art.

Lacoste SS12- Debut of Felipe Oliveira Baptista Collection at New York Fashion Week

Felipe Oliveira Baptista’s first collection for Lacoste is re-establishing French sportswear as the essence of ‘La Parisienne’ – effortless elegance achieved through mix and match.

Essentials: Mackintosh, oversized chinos, knit blazers, rugby shirt dresses, silk poncho, parkas and new take on polo shirts.


Colour palette: navy blue is the timeless black. Soft hues of grey , beige, caramel  with blocks of vibrant colours: flaminco red, Sumatra blue, deep jewel green and acid yellow.



Fabrics: Cotton and silk .Leather details and trimmings, maxi cotton pique and oversized cotton linen knits.  Art deco inspired print made of interwoven ‘L’ in silk georgette and wool voile.

Stretched proportions turn key Lacoste styles in to new pieces and making  each movement stylishly nonchalant
