Ralph Lauren  presented the Fall 2016 Collection at New York Fashion Week.

 Karlie Kloss was among the models who walked in the show while actress Sienna Miller sat front row with the Lauren family.

The sophisticated collection is presented with a lighthearted touch and a lively spirit. There’s a youthful and sexy edge to Polo’s signature chic styling that appeals to a life that jumps between city to country, morning to night.

Polo is offering softer interpretations of signature silhouettes, and seamlessly adding the fashion details and luxe fabrics that make the collection fresh and exciting.
“The Polo girl is a fashion girl. Her clothes are cool and sophisticated, with an eclectic styling that is unexpected and individual. It’s a confident look, beyond trend: modern, elevated and quintessentially Polo,” said Ralph Lauren.

The palette for the season is pure—grey, caramel and black—with touches of subtle metallic for a hint of rock ‘n’ roll. A muted silver-sequin shift is paired with a cocooning chunky sweater-jacket (2nd left in below image), and a suede shift topped with a tweed coat exemplifies that softer silhouette carried through the collection, (far right in below image). Haberdashery-style tailoring is seen in a cropped pinstripe three-piece suit and a tobacco-coloured stretch suede jacket and high-waisted trousers with a flared leg. (Far left in below image)

The menswear influence that is at the heart of Polo is romanced for a woman with the confidence that comes with a black suspender-style cocktail dress.

Polo Sport is a new introduction, completing the interesting and animated lifestyle of the brand, with ultra-chic, fully functional fashion from gym to street and beyond. Advance technical elements, including cooling fabrics and reflective finishes, complement luxurious après-sport pieces, such as a shearling pullover and sporty cashmere joggers, to offer ultimate versatility and all-day wear.

The Fall 2016 presentation was attended by musician Ciara, American footballer Russell Wilson and actresses Camilla Belle and Emma Roberts.

ALTUZARRA AW16 SHOW - NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

The look this season is finished with block heel boots and Mary Janes, in matching materials and textiles.

Ralph Lauren Hosts Spring 2016 Women’s POLO Presentation During New York Fashion Week

On Friday, September 11th, Ralph Lauren hosted Tinashe, Selena Gomez and Ciara  among others, at an exclusive presentation to view the Spring 2016 Women’s POLO collection.

 The Polo Ralph Lauren Spring-Summer 2016 Collection presents a look that’s bold, sophisticated and bright, including oversized florals, romantic boho layers and deep indigo denim.

 In addition the women’s collection features classic Bengal-stripe button-down shirts, an icon in the world of Ralph Lauren womenswear.

 Gorgeous florals add spirit to flattering cropped pants and flirty sundresses, while structured blazers and fringed denim get treated to colourful hues.

 Mr. Lauren commented on the Spring Polo 2016 collection saying: “The Polo woman has a sophisticated attitude, is well-bred, with a downtown edge. For Spring Summer '16 Joseph Altuzarra presented textured linen dresses and tops, gently wrinkled and creased, softly undulated around the body.

 The attitude this season is relaxed, effortless and soft, evoking the ease of summer.

 Ceramic glazes inspire colourful dip-dyed and hand painted dresses.

 Mother of pearl buttons exuberantly adorn burlap coats and tops, while embroidered broderie anglaise dresses recall the unique architecture of Alhambra.

 The Ghianda handbag collection is updated in Sfumato leather and crocodile, with the addition of two new styles: the 'Ghianda' Shoulder bag and tote.

Ralph Lauren’s new Polo line for women presented its Spring ’15 collection during New York Fashion Week in a revolutionary runway event: a water-screen projection that towered above Manhattan’s Central Park, fusing fashion, art and technology.

The event was attended by hundreds of spectators including celebrities, runway faces and fashion editors including Kendall Jenner, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Ciara.

The holographic 4D fashion event also celebrated the grand opening of the Polo Flagship Store on Fifth Avenue, the brand’s first flagship spanning nearly 38,000 square feet over three floors.

Showcasing the complete new world of Polo for women alongside the Polo men’s collection, the new store also introduces Ralph Lauren’s first ever coffee shop, Ralph’s Coffee.

DVF Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection at New York Fashion Week

Diane von Furstenberg says of her collection “A glamorous vagabond....she’s on the run with her dreams and colours!”

Famous for her wrap dress, this season the collection is aptly called ‘Bohemian Wrapsody’ And the story behind the inspiration?:

A painter, a poet, a dancer, she is a free spirit floating towards the intersection of everything. In dancing skirts and the ballerina sweaters from which the wrap was born, she is full of hope for what the night will bring.

From the East, she rises with the sun wrapped in golden love knots. 

In a cocoon of cloud wave jacquard, she emerges in black and white with a burst of poppy red. 

She dreams in rich jewel tones like bright iris with swirls of firebird sienna, in flowing crepe and shimmering velvet.

She slips a shirt dress over soft pants, layering for her journey with a chic nonchalance and a devil-may-care approach to print; bold and wild and mixed to perfection, her Runaway bag flying behind her as she catches a train.

By morning, her eyes will open to the West, to the curtain call of Ballets Russes, a moveable feast of fashion and music. Here, a rose print grows under the moonlight.

A celestial print pops on cobalt blue.

The curtain opens to a bouquet of golden wraps, a gilded celebration of the silhouette that started it all. She is statuesque and free. Cue the Bohemian Wrapsody.
