New Look Spring/Summer 2011 - Back to the 70's

New Look's SS11 collection is bright and bold with the winning colour as......
......white shown here in cropped white jacket, white net v neck vest, white vest and white trousers. Closely followed by other key colours....
......pillar box red shown here as red crop jeans teamed with white crop cricket jumper,
.....electric blue shown here as blue blouse teamed with white wide leg trousers and white blazer,

......bright purple here as a one shoulder top matched with pattern knit shorts and...
.....sunshine yellow shown here as scalloped edge shorts and teamed with blue and white stripe crop top.. No wilting wall flowers here although.....

.....florals make a big come back - floral print jumpsuit.
...with gingham a close second (shown here as a red & white gingham playsuit)

Themes are :
the 1970's with the flattering boot cut flares (shown here as pattern knit flares teamed with a pink crop tie up)...
... oversized blouses (shown here in white with polka dot wide leg trousers) and....
....the midi length for skirts and dresses. (navy ditsy print dress with blue blazer)
Evening glamour comes in the style of palazzo halter neck jumpsuits
.And it wouldn't be the 70's without the wide brim hats and ...
.....a pair of funky oversized  sunglasses- loving this floral frame

Next theme is the collegiate look...

..... Argyle twin sets are teamed with leather pencil skirts.
Cute gym style skirts (here in a blue and yellow ditsy floral and teamed with a yellow lace sleeveless top)
And baseball/varsity jackets over layered vests and shorts.
New Look also have their Limited Edition collection giving an etheral slant to the 1970's theme. White is still the main colour palette but now teamed with softer neutral hues and tribal patterns in earth tones.
Bandeau top in Aztec design with matching maxi skirt.
Tribal drop waist sundress
And my favourite is this maxi back floral dress, but then I am a romantic.
