Gyo Yuni Kimchoe SS16 collection at London Fashion Week

Titled 'Enlightened Rebel', inspiration is taken from the Buddhist monks and the British rebel culture in a diverse mix of fabrications and silhouettes.

Phase one shows plenty of vintage clothes and styles manipulated to create new fabrics with studded and tulle embellishments.

The free spirit of both the Buddhist and British rebels are represented from natural motifs such as waves, clouds and fires found in Buddhist art and paintings.

Bespoke fabrics from the first phase are broken and peeled from the body revealing the inner worth in the form of satin fabric combined with frills and studs to create lotus motifs.

Luxurious brocade details are revealed in the second phase to show the natural blues and greens.

In the final phase, they are finally enlightened showing Asian brocade outfits
