Mark Fast AW18 at London Fashion Week

For AW18, knitwear designer Mark Fast was inspired by the Greek Sirens who sometimes are portrayed with the body of a bird and the head of a woman, or in the mermaid guise.

Both appeared in the collection with Marabou feathers fluttering like wings down the catwalk

Whilst bejewelled knits glistened like fish scales on  mermaid silhouettes in aqua blues and corals .

And the Marabou yarn dance around the hems like a mermaids tailfin

Colour palette included feather whites, blush lilacs, peacock blues and raven blacks
