Simon Mo SS19 collection at London Fashion Week

Born in Taiwan and raised in Malaysia surrounded by sea, Mo feels a strong sense of personal responsibility and urgency to draw plastic pollution to people’s attention, so through his SS19 collection titled: 'Seas the Day', he aims to promote global change in aid of admiration to the Sea by looking at the tales of adventure, myth and fantasy, where gods and humans alike revered the power of the ocean.

Vintage scuba diving suits show exaggerated shapes and silhouettes.

Deep ocean blue sequins on tailored jackets and shorts whilst a pale blue air bubble print adorn the inside pleats of a pin stripe asymmetric dress.

Gauze fabric skirts that looks like waves.

Layers of coats and casual dresses styled for a feel of athleisure, while adding a modern dimension to the retro marine components.
