INIFD present Neha Arora AW17 at London Fashion Week

This season the India based Inter-National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) in association with The London School of Trends (LST) presents A Chaotic Romance at London Fashion Week for the Autumn Winter 2017 season with Fashion Scout. One of the designers is Neha Arora


Titled: An Ageless Expression has been inspired by the traditional art form of the Madhubani.

Paintings which is done using fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens and matches using natural dyes and pigments and are characterised by eye catching geometrical patterns.
The main motif that has been picked is “Tree of Life”.

 Neha transforms and interpret the paintings to create a fusion between the past and the present.
Age old techniques of block printing in golden colour with hand crafted Blocks, highlighted with very intricate and unique Indian “Zari Embroidery” (tilla and pitta work) have been used.

Silks are in rich royal colours including yellow ochre, Persian blue, emerald green, maroon and shades of grey have been used to decorate experimental and elegant silhouettes with layers of cascading falls of fabric imparting a fluid look to the collection

A Chaotic Romance is the result of a competition run by both institutes with over 2000 entries from across 60 premium INIFD Centres in India.
It will showcase the designs of 11 specially selected designers from India who have all been under the creative direction of Joe Toronka.
