This season the India based Inter-National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) in association with The London School of Trends (LST) presents A Chaotic Romance at London Fashion Week for the Autumn Winter 2017 season with Fashion Scout. One designer is Shikha Garg
' Unilay Inlay' was inspired by the Taj Mahal, in particular by its beauty and grandeur, showcased through its inlay work and prominent decoration.
Parchiankari inlay work is an intricate art from which consists of motifs of holy plants, paisley and flowers. Each garment depicts the beautiful motif of inlay.
The colour hues of the garments have been chosen to mirror the colour scheme of the Taj Mahal.
A-line cuts form this collection accompanied with layers in figure-hugging jumpsuit and bodysuit in an array of truffle, golden and peach velvets and suedes.
A Chaotic Romance is the result of a competition run by both institutes with over 2000 entries from across 60 premium INIFD Centres in India.
It will showcase the designs of 11 specially selected designers from India who have all been under the creative direction of Joe Toronka.
