Gianmarco Lorenzi Spring/Summer 2012 shoe collection

This collection presents a 1970's inspired wonderland.
Taking inspiration from Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro's hollow bronze works of art:...
....there's towering architectural sandals with cut out platforms.....
..... and skyscraper patent leather courts.

Mary Janes are given a sexy make over with high stiletto heels...
... and bright pop colours.

Wedge sandals are in two tone suede ....
... and for the more hoilday feel in the platform are made of cork.....or..
..... rope.

Loving the nod to Andy Warhol pop art and neon colours.

Fabrics used are the glamourous shiny patent leather , ...
..... the relaxed elegence of suede....

...and the oh so sexy python print.

Colours range from:
The neutrals of tan and brown, plus...
... nude pink.. the brighter pop colours associated with the 1970s....
variety of blues from turquoise to cobalt....
and greens.

Embellishments are in the form of  oversized butterflies.....
....oversized buttons,
oversized bows,

tiny belt straps....
.....and patterned silk flowers.

Prints are the geometric muted colour blocks....
the boho laidback denim..and
......the brighter fun loving pop art (is that Gianni's image I can see? )

Gianni's Black Label carries on the trend with the cut out platforms..
... and the gorgeous bright colours
plus a few of the classic neutrals.

So many styles and colours to choose from and not enough wardrobe space!
