Salvatore Ferragamo have unveiled their AW15 collection campaign, shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott
Ferragamo’s century-long ties with Hollywood subtly flow through the campaign imagery.
A warm and rich palette embodies the campaign’s filmic qualities, in which iconic red drapes frame the collection and heighten emotions,
while the precise architectural lines of the villa setting reflect Ferragamo’s masterful design innovation
With a focus on strong individuals, a cast including Vanessa Moody and Julia Bergshoeff, evokes the pioneering spirit of Ferragamo, and highlights Giornetti’s effortless luxe style that continues to see European craft and culture embracing the endless possibilities of Hollywood

Ong-Oaj Pairam AW15 Collection
This season Ong-Oaj Pairam celebrates the iconic pop culture and
celebrity status in all its oversized excessive glamorous indulgence and
luxurious glory.
His prints take on a Warhol like approach which can be clearly seen in
the recurring image of the young Elizabeth Taylor on an oversized swing coat
and the fitted tailored coat.
Other prints take on a camouflage appearance creating a suggestion of
danger. Ong’s urban camouflage is void
of any militaristic forms; instead one is an abstract creation of paparazzi cameras
and bulbs whilst the other shows a nocturnal animal (akin to the cute bush
baby) caught in headlights.
These animals also appear on hand embroidery using the same techniques
that are used in military garments.
Ong’s celebration of iconic pop culture isn’t all fame,
money and glamour as he plays with themes of vulnerability and at times the
vulgarity often associated with a celebrity lifestyle. Exposing the person underneath are the sheer
dresses adorned with Ong’s signature hand embroidered appliqués. This season
the appliqués include cameras and animals caught in headlights – a visual metaphor
to startled celebrities caught by the paparazzi’s flashing bulbs.

F&F AW15 Womenswear Show
F&F showed a preview of their AW15 collection at the plush Savoy hotel in London.
Womenswear returns to retro spanning late 60s to the early 70s.

This season, signature styles of the 1970's era are given an exquisite feel. Textures are nostalgic with the resurgence of suede, shearling and patch work,
Tailored culottes, jackets and a trench arrive in real suede leather with the look of crushed velvet.
There is further focus on contrasting textures with chiffon dresses worn with lightweight knitted roll necks.
Colour palette is very 70's with clashing pinks, berrys, rust and buttery camels with pops of orange and teal .
Outerwear features a bohemian shearling jacket in camel hues,
Faux fur accents are a strong accessories trend in striking stoles
Layering is key with high waisted trousers, shrunken jackets, pussy bow blouses creating a vintage inspired look.
Shift dresses create a fun late 60's look
Silhouettes are enhanced with the addition of a clean leg boot in rich wintery tones or a paired down fringe loafer.
The top handle shoulder bag further anchor the 70's inspiration.
