Amy Adams the Face of Max Mara AW14 Accessories Campaign

This year – for the second season – the Max Mara Group has chosen a famous international star to interpret its Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 collections of Accessories and Sunglasses.
The campaign will feature the beautiful and charismatic Amy Adams.
The internationally acclaimed actress has been nominated for several major awards including five Academy Award nominations, four BAFTA nominations and five Golden Globe nominations for her riveting and widely varied performances in films such as “The Master” (2012), “The Fighter” (2010), “Doubt” (2008), “Enchanted” (2007) and “Junebug” (2006), most recently winning the 2014 Golden Globe for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical” for “American Hustle”.

Margaux Bag: in the campaign is the latest version of the Margaux Bag – the Max Mara must-have par excellence. This season features a revamped design, with asymmetrical handles that make it safe to carry and variable closing (total with the zip, partial with the flap) which allows the contents to be accessible without leaving the bag open. The stitching is concealed in order to emphasize the harmony of the proportions. Available in two sizes (large or small), it also has a long inner shoulder strap which makes it even easier to carry.

Signature Bag: the “it” bag which combines rigorous lines with details that make it beautiful yet practical and functional. Made entirely from the finest calfskin, crafted by skilled hands and innovative technologies, the Signature comes in two sizes and in a palette of sober and sophisticated colours. The “puntino” saddle stitching – one of the signature trademarks of Max Mara – decorates the front of the bag and is emphasized with elegance in the photographs by Mario Sorrenti. This type of stitching, usually characteristic of the most prestigious men’s tailoring, is done directly by the same machines that work on the famous Max Mara coats.

Photographed in New York for Max Mara by the great fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, Amy Adams models some of key styles from the range of accessories, such as the iconic Signature Bag and the unmistakable Margaux, a classic of the production by the Group, as well as the new cutting-edge frames from the Eyewear collection.
