The Botanist and The Trading House will be brightening up the year’s most miserable day, Blue Monday, for customers across the country
Reported to be the most depressing day of the year, the 16th January, is now more widely known as Blue Monday, with cold weather conditions and post-Christmas debt leaving the UK feeling glum.
But don't despair as both The Botanist and The Trading House have decided to carry out random tokens of kindness to bring a touch of joy to their customers’ day.
The Botanist which has sites all across the UK and The Trading House, in Bank, London, are running a ’Tokens of Kindness’ campaign over the next weekend and on Monday in the run up to the most miserable day of the year. They will be carrying out the random acts by surprising selected guests with their favourite tipple, boxes of Elizabeth Shaw chocolates, bunches of flowers or even cocktail masterclass vouchers!
Guests that receive a token of kindness will be given a physical token, encouraging them to spread happiness to others and share their good deed using the hashtag #ATokenofKindness.
And On Blue Monday one lucky participant from The Botanist will then be chosen to receive the ultimate feel-good gift to experience The Botanist in their own home; where a live band, a chef and bartender will throw the ultimate party for them and up to 4 guests. Alongside this, their home will be decorated with flowers, and chocolates courtesy of Elizabeth Shaw.
Both The Botanist and The Trading House serve botanical cocktails, world famous beers and ales along with deli, rotisserie and BBQ inspired food; the perfect place for city dwellers to eat, drink and entertain. They will be hosting daily energetic evening gigs and lazy Sunday afternoon sessions; with acoustic acts delivering enthusiastic sets on guitar, piano and vocal guaranteeing a real home-from-home atmosphere.
