Anissa Aida SS19 at London Fashion Week

Anissa Aida's sleek designs draw on cultural and sartorial influences from her Tunisian heritage, blending them with those of Japan, China and the Far East.

Titled 'Outre-Mer' Aida's SS19 is inspired by Mediterranean villages using stripes

 and a colour palette is of cool shades of blue and white

Fabrics used are Italian linen, Tunisian denim and hand woven silks.

She also uses Japanese Boro textiles and their use of patchwork - a waste reducing tradition.
