TOP MODEL's AWARD & 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

Top Model, the leading UK and Worldwide model search competition, fashion and awards event, celebrated the end of their year-long 10th anniversary celebrations with a star-studded weekend of glitz, glamour and celebrity VIP’s at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel on Fri - Saturday night (April 6-7th) supporting the CHILDREN with CANCER UK charity.

The finalist walked the catwalk in stunning outfits by fashion designers Omar Mansoor, Michaela Frankova, AGA Couture London, MIA by Mia Vickery, Akani, See-Saw Menswear, Louise Rose Vintage Couture, Karen Gold, Luxury by Feyi, Afrodite, SC3 Collection and Buzzjay Fashion Studio
 Farnborough College of Technology students also presented their Conceptual Art collection, part of the Top Model Education Partnership Initiative supporting young talent..
The first finalist on Saturday's catwalk wore Karen Gold London statement red jacket with long black skirt and cropped top.

The finalists sparkled in AGA Couture London's sequin cocktail dresses

 And dazzled in Luxury by Feyi's 'Crystal' sheer beaded ball gown and 'Queeny' strapless crystal printed ball gown.

 HOPE (Top Model Australia) won thee international Worldwide title. Hope wore a silver evening gown by couturier Omar Mansoor. (here she is with the designer himself)

First runner up for the International World place went to another Australian model, Maria Esipova (wearing Karen Gold London), here below with Hope
Maria, also  won the inaugural ‘Sophie Fraser-Smith Models Model Award’, introduced in memory of the model and Top Model team member Sophie-Fraser Smith, who was tragically killed in a road accident in 2017.

 Other awards included  Over 25’s 25-35 and 35-45 age group titles. The below gown 'Alexandra'  adorned with crystals and pearls and made to order from Luxury by Feyi was worn by the winner of the Classic Chic over 25s . The designer herself wores a LBF (Luxury by Feyi) t-shirt.

  JAIME PROCTER from Bermuda won the overall ‘Public Vote Award’ for charity, raising over £2,500. (and also was the 3rd runner up of the International Worldwide place )

 The total raised for CHILDREN with CANCER UK from the Top Model 2018 campaign will be in excess of £37,500, breaking the previous record amount from 2016 and passing £180,000 in fundraising since 2010.

M.I.A. & Mercedes-Benz host an intimate performance by Tommy Genesis to launch #mbcollective Fashion Story, Chapter One

Last night, Mercedes-Benz and British singer M.I.A. celebrated the launch of #mbcollective Fashion Story, Chapter One, by hosting a live performance by M.I.A.’s chosen protégé, Canadian singer and model, Tommy Genesis.

 Tommy performed a 30 min live set featuring acclaimed songs including Kodak from her current album babi.daddi to an audience of 250 people at The Store, at 180 The Strand, the new official home of London Fashion Week.

Titled Generation Now, Generation Next, the new #mbcollective fashion story is a new initiative for luxury automotive brand Mercedes-Benz, and will unite international talent in the form of three protagonists (Generation Now) and their accompanying protégés (Generation Next), to be released globally throughout the year 2017.
Chapter One features the British musician and artist M.I.A. and her protégé, the emerging Canadian rapper Tommy Genesis. All the international talent together with Luke Gilford and a group of emerging fashion designers, whose pieces feature in the campaign, comprise the first members of the burgeoning #mbcollective – a group of influencers, trendsetters and designers who will amplify Mercedes-Benz’ global fashion engagement and use their extensive social following to communicate their activities and embody Mercedes-Benz’ core initiative CASE (Connectivity, Autonomous, Shared Services and Electric Drive).

London Ethnic UK Designer Showcase

On the relative serenity of the opening night of London Fashion Week, London Ethnic hosted an intimate reception for press and buyers, showcasing some of London’s emerging designers at the Terrace Pavilion of the Houses of Parliament.

 The event was created to allow the fashion crowd to enjoy a night before the busy week ahead with a glass of wine, canapes and to see designers who embody London Ethnic’s ethical values at one of the most iconic buildings in London, Terrace Pavilion inside Westminster Palace.


All showcased labels ‘Polosophia’, ‘Karen Gold’ and ‘Diaso London’ are ethical & sustainable brands based in London who produce in the UK. The catwalk showcased bright African patterns, lace silhouettes & story-telling garments in a natural & floral makeup moodboard, all put together in ethical fabrics.
Diaso London is known for combining West African culture with European fabrics. All the designs are created to make a powerful statement using bold detail with daring sheer elements.





Karen Gold is a contemporary British brand - the collections is Made in Britain using hand loomed heritage fabrics from Sub Saharan Africa. For AW17, Karen gold explores the merging of sustainable fashion with classic styles bringing newness and innovation to silk hand embroidered fabrics of textural intensity explored through rich, heavy textures, contrasting elements of weightlessness and transparency.




Polosophia garments are made of natural and organic materials in London. Each garment comes with a collectable book chapter

KENZO x H&M Fashion Show in New York

At Pier 36 in New York, KENZO x H&M made its runway debut with a spectacular show directed by fashion legend Jean-Paul Goude.
Guests were invited to experience the uniquely vibrant and playful energy of the KENZO x H&M collection designed by KENZO Creative Directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.

To the rhythm of a customized remix of “Express Yourself” by Sam Spiegel, dancers, beatboxers, whistlers and musicians came together to celebrate the beauty and power of individual expression. Through a unique choreography created by KENZO collaborator, Ryan Heffington the show cast presented the KENZO x H&M collection to an audience who experienced an inferno of playfulness, bold prints and vivid colours. As the show finished the celebration continued with a performance by rapper and surprise guest Ice Cube.

Luxury Lingerie brands hit the runway for Prestige Yacht & Jet Catwalk Show

With glamour in the air, luxury lingerie brands took to the runway for Prestige Fashion’s catwalk show at Old Billingsgate in London associated as the fashion part of the London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show.

The Prestige Catwalk Show started with graceful ballet performers dancing to James Bond themed music wearing German brand ITEM m6’s award winning tights.


Celebrity designer Raine & Bea showcased lingerie pieces similar to what they recently designed for singer Fleur East.


Sonata Rapalyte finished the lingerie show with their sheer lace designs that were accessorised by world-renowned jewellery brand Elvyra Design.

Fase Di Moda - Horoscope Swimwear Collection on the Prestige Yacht & Jet Catwalk

Irina Dobbs latest inspirational designs of Fase Di Moda were highlighted at the Prestige Fashion Event in Old Billingsgate Market.

Fase di Moda’s Horoscope collection of swim and beachwear continues with the “Spiritual Fashion” theme, which blends the signs of the Zodiac with swimwear encrusted with semi-precious birthstones,

Each sign of the Zodiac is highlighted in an original design linked with beautiful designs of swimwear for 2016 and the collection of scarves, pareos and headwear is produced in Italy with the aim of each sign to be truly unique.

 Fase di Moda is recognised for the use of semiprecious stones particularly Amber in fashion items providing feeling of beauty and health to those who wear the designs.
 Fase di Moda pure silk fabric prints integrate this mode in the tunics, swimwear and beachwear; it reflects unique patterns of insects, which were trapped in the amber during its formation millions of years ago.
 The Fase Di Moda created a catwalk among beautiful Prestige cars with 12 designers and 20 models in a glamorous setting organized by Irina Dobbs with a James Bond theme.

Various photo-shoots occurred on yachts moored in St. Katherine’s Dock with Fase di Moda designs featured on the classic Spirit 54’ SOUFRIÈRE which was build specifically for the Bond film “Casino Royale”.

One of the shots included fabulous swim piece with real aquamarine stones combined with an exclusively beautiful collection of designer hats by Jane Taylor, a milliner of the Royal Family and a favourite designer of the Duchess of Cambridge.
