DIESEL LAUNCH SS15 CAMPAIGN SHOT BY NICK KNIGHT‏

Resounding a clear siren for tolerance, equality and unconditional love, Diesel launches its SS2015 advertising campaign.

This is Diesel’s new year’s resolution. It’s rising above, it’s tolerance, inclusiveness, LOVE in the largest most unconditional sense possible. As Nicola Formichetti explains, “It’s elevating yourself. Elevating your spirit. Whatever it takes, however you do it. Wherever you are.” Conceived by creative director Nicola Formichetti and styled by Anna Trevelyan, the campaign will run with the hashtag #DieselHigh because of its provocative and optimistic implications—urging to live life in the moment and to enjoy the ride.

As Nicola says, “There are so many crazy things happening now that you don’t see people just having fun any more. The challenge was to work with an avant-garde photographer, Nick Knight, and get him to do something he’s rarely done – which is shoot people smiling. It feels spontaneous, like they are selfies and he’s just the one snapping the photo.”

The DNA of Diesel and the reignition that began with #DieselReboot evolves into #DieselHigh. #DieselReboot was about individuals celebrating their unique point of view and celebrating their creativity. From there, we moved on to the new communities in #WeAreConnected and now, we are creating a powerful, positive new energy for the world with #DieselHigh.

For the festive season ripped jeans had a touch of sequins in the rips and snowflake intarsia jumpers sparkled.

Sweatshirts sported the cheery words of  Merry & Bright

Sequin chiffon slip dresses  were teamed with cosy chunky long cardigans and blankets

Aerie showed how to dress for Santa's visit in their loungewear .

Miss Sixty's Autumn/Winter 2011 Denim Collection

Miss Sixty has an array of denim styles to choose from this AW11. Here are a few favourites:

Nu-Metal Charms trousers - £114

These skinny jeans have their own charm – literally in the form of suede tassels and a silver ball.
The best body shape for skinny jeans is the slim boyish frame, but when worn with knee high boots (which are the boots to wear for this autumn/winter), the width of the boots helps balance out wider hips and also the larger bust.
Faded effect, dark wash, and 3 button closure.

Coco Soul Trousers

Another skinny jeans but with a quilted pattern from above the knee to the ankle with ankles zip.
Skinny jeans do look good tucked in a pair of knee high boots but it would be a shame to cover the quilted design so opt for a pair of ankle boots instead.
And for those of you with wider hips, the quilted bottom gives more fullness and again can help balance out.

Coco Shot trousers - £132

The quilted pattern on these skinny jeans are around the side front pockets and so will bring more emphasis towards this area – great for those with small hips and a larger bust.
Wear with knee high boots which will also help balance out the bottom half with the top.
Dark wash, low waisted

Shock Trousers - £78

A straight leg cut which looks good with boots or sandals.
Great shape for the straight boyish figure, but also a good alternative to the skinny jean for the pear shaped woman.
Dark wash, worn effect, low waisted

Tommy New Trouser £78

The 70’s flared jeans.
Figure flattering style which suits most body shapes:  balancing out wide hips and also balances out larger busts.
For the day go 70s bohemian and wear a feminine printed blouse, furry gilet, knitwear and the 70s must have the floppy felt hat.
For evening put on your highest glittery wedges and a satin top for a touch of the disco glamour.
Dark wash, stretch, normal waisted, wide bootleg cut

Keep Warm, Look Cool in Angels & Men Thermal Lined Jeans

New Premium denim label, Angels & Men launch their debut collection this AW11 and bring to the UK market a completely new concept in denim apparel – the first range of fashion thermal lined jeans.

Now that the weather is turning and cold times are ahead, this is good news - looking cool whilst stayining warm.
Launching in the UK in October of this year, the brand has been set up by Mellie Carroll and Jo Matthews after recent freezing British Winters. They decided to create a unique jean which provides warmth with the appearance and fit of a regular premium brand.
For the first collection, Angels & Men will carry a range of two different cuts and two different washes –

Here is the Straight cut in the Dark wash

And the Boot cut in a worn wash which has a lightening bleach effect to give a slightly used appearance.
The jeans are specifically designed to remain fitted to the body and add no bulk to the wearer.

The lining is of a Duothermalate fleece fabric, which means it retains heat while still being fully breathable, so making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities

The material mimics the properties of wool. It is warm and comfortable, machine washable and quick drying.
The fabric traps natural body warmth, both in the soft fluffy fleece layer next to the skin, and in the layer between the Duothermalate and denim. The amount of air between the denim and the Duothermalate is maximised by the lightly ribbed texture on the back of the fabric.

And they are not stopping there, future plans include a high performance jean with the same thermal qualities but to a higher degree, which will be suitable for more extreme cold conditions.

Angels & Men will be available to buy from their online shop www.angelsandmen.co.uk and will also be stocked in various other boutiques and outlets throughout the UK.
