London Fashion Week SS17 Day One Outfit

As the the first day of London Fashion Week is also hectic and back to back fashion shows/presentations  I decided to go for comfortable casual for the frenetic day ahead.

Florals and mixing patterns was the theme with a crisp cotton shirt from TM Lewin and the on trend floral bomber jacket from Peacocks;
Keeping cool in T.M.Lewin semi fitted pink floral cluster shirt in 100% cotton. Was £34.95 now £15

The bomber jacket is really flying high this season. For the autumn transition,  Peacock’s black floral printed bomber jacket is.fine enough for the warmer days and can be layered over thicker jumpers for the cooler days. Was £25 now £17.50

Paired with a pair of versatile denim cullottes.  A chic alternative to the denim jeans.
Jaeger denim culottes. Were £89 but now on sale for $55

For me, flat shoes are a must when rushing around from show to show, and thankfully on trend!
Another plus was the patent leather. Love the shininess but as it poured it down on the first day, the patent finish kept my feet dry whilst splashing in and out of the puddles
Hotter Shipley shoes – the kiltie loafer in burgundy patent leather. Price £75
Worn with a pair of cute pink gingham socks.
On the front row for the Ones to Watch fashion show with makeup artist Jonas Oliver. wearing KTZ top. Check out his portfolio on http://jonasoliver.com/ And behind us is my dear work colleague - personal stylish Adrianna  looking fresh in a stripe shirt.

Ones to Watch show included:
Ana Ljubinkovic - Serbian designer demonstrating kitsch traditional handcraft techniques for the modern woman.

Anissa Aida - juxtaposing her Tunisian heritage with Eastern fashions.

Billie Jacobina - shows innovations with colour, texture and shape.

Ester Kubisz - unisex deconstucted tailoring with the use of distressed pinstripe and crisp oxford cotton shirts.

Clarks SS15 Preview

Clarks go sweet for SS15 with sugared almond pastels.

Mellow Yellows in the soft leather Tasselled Loafer, shiny patent Festival Glee t-bat flat and the Embellished sandal.

The mannish Hamble Oak brogue is given more of a feminine touch in dusky pink and pale yellow.

Another androgynous style, the Hotel Bustle fisherman sandal, also looks pretty in pale pink oyster.

Sweet and comfortable is the honey coloured  Berrick Ruby sandal with its  Clarks Plus comfortable cushioning system. Fringing gives the sandals a 70s vibe.

Clarks takes a shine to metallics for SS15

Metallics are a winner for SS15. Silver Tasselled Loafer, gold Renne Ice gladiator sandals and silver Ski Tropical heeled sandals.

Clarks go wild over snake effect print in SS15

Natural snake print with a touch of metallics on the Tasselled Loafer, Curtain Candy high heeled sandal and the classic Aquifer Belle kitten heel slingbacks.

At the Hotter Shoes Dinner & Treasure Hunt

Just to prove how comfortable their stylish shoes are, Hotter Shoes invited a few fashion bloggers to choose a pair and wear them on a treasure hunt around Soho.

I chose the Shearsby shoe Price £79: http://www.hotter.com/gb/en/shearsby
My Shearsby shoe is a double monk strap style in shiny red leather patent, but it is also available in black or tan leather.

Here you can get a closer look at the Shearsby (in the middle) with two of my other favourite styles:
the Somerley lace up brogue (front) and at the back the Shipley loafers
All have pillow soft underfoot cushioning and lightweight rubber soles filled with millions of air bubbles !!!

Danielle ankle boots & Donna shoes
Lavish shoes & Winsome courts

The higher heeled shoes have Hotter's Pyramid Technology. This is a foam pad with tiny cushioned pyramids and is hidden deep in the sole. The pad contracts and traps air as you walk, acting as a cushion to the balls of your feet where pressure can be constant.

Hollie - PrettyBigButterflies blog
For the treasure hunt we had to complete several tasks. One was to take a creative photo of a Hotter shoe. Great teams think alike as we both chose to create an illusion of a small shoe.

Another challenge was to spell out the word STYLE.

And another was to find Michelle from Wingfield PR who was hiding in Soho Square and take a creative picture of her Hotter Wiltshire boots.

The photo was creative with a loan of a rickshaw and a hard hat, but you can't really see the boot. So here's a closer look of the Wiltshire with its deep faux fur cuff - so on trend for this season! Price £79

Unfortunately the other team won, but really we were all winners: enjoying great company, a lovely  meal at Kettners, a  fun treasure hunt through Soho and of course our own pair of Hotter shoes!
