Trinity Leeds Leads the Food Revolution with Trinity Kitchen

Many of us take retail shopping very seriously and often get so carried away we can forget to eat or can’t spare the time looking for a place to eat. Well today (Thurs 17 October) Trinity Leeds, the latest venue for retail and entertainment, welcomed their hungry shoppers to its new take on eating out: Trinity Kitchen.

A first for the UK and British Street Food, Trinity Kitchen is a unique food destination, which combines seven restaurants, cafes and bars with five of the UK’s best street food vans. From today, local Leeds based company The Marvellous Tea Dance (serving tea and cakes in a garden shed) joins award-winning hot dog trader, Big Apple Hotdogs, alongside traditional Italian three-wheel Piaggio van, Gurmetti, Indian snack stall Manjit’s Kitchen and the winners of this year’s British Street Food Awards, Katie & Kim’s Kitchen, serving Scottish recipes from the back of a converted horsebox.

They will spend four weeks serving their freshly made street food alongside seven permanent restaurants, cafes and bars, all of which are new to Leeds. For the majority of the new additions, it is also the first time they have served their food and drink outside of London.
The Trinity Kitchen space is a combination of warehouse and street alley styling and along with a diverse range of world cuisine, will be home to regular live entertainment and events, including jazz nights, cooking demos and wine and beer tastings.
Trinity Kitchen also features a range of technology including an interactive digital screen showcasing food, music, games and a live Instagram wall (on which visitors can share their images by tagging pictures with #TrinityKitchen), in addition to a free iPad service for visitors to keep up to date with news and offers.
