David's Bridal Donates 150 Prom Dresses to Promising Students
Last week leading US prom retailer David’s Bridal, made their mark on the prom scene in the UK by partnering with the Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin Wales and donated 150 prom dresses to promising students from Newham based secondary school, Sarah Bonnell at a prom pop up shop.
Essentially as prom is becoming more and more popular in the UK, schools are incentivising young girls to do better in their GCSE’s by creating prom passports. The more revision sessions they do the cheaper the prom ticket and the more amazing it is.
David’s Bridal, as the leader in prom, wanted to reward these girls and empower young women to do better in their education by building the store in the school for 150 of the top performing students to pick a dress for free!
