LEGGERA NELL’ARIA boutique on the Kings Road, Chelsea, London, played host
to Calico Pr’s blogger event supporting world fair trade and ethical fashion,
“KEEP IT FAIR IN WHAT YOU WEAR”.
With live models greeting guests in
the window as mannequins, and the designers from calico pr’s ethical brands
present , attendees were able to experience ethical fashion at its finest and
learn all about sustainability within the fashion supply chain. There were a
range of women’s wear, accessories and loungewear pieces all with an
interesting story behind them.

Leggera Nell’aria also stocks brands
such as Anita Quansah, a stunning handmade artistic jewellery brand, alongside
unique Pineapple wraps made
especially for the boutique, using ethically sourced Piña hand woven and dyed
using natural ingredients in the Philippines. The boutique pride themselves on supporting ethical
brands that rely on craftsmanship, ethical principles and was the perfect place
to hold an event to raise the awareness of ethical fashion. With recent
happenings in the industry such as Fashion Revolution Day and World Fair Trade
Day urging people to think about who made their clothes, the event aimed to
answer this- directly from the brand designers
