Calvin Klein Collection presented Francisco Costa's S/S12 show at New York

Calvin Klein Collection presented the brands' Women's Creative Director, Francisco Costa's Spring/Summer 2012 runway show at the company's New York HQ on 15 Sep

This season's inspiration was the celebration of the female form.
Light layers of tulle and silk caressed the body.
The key look was the slip dress.
Footwear was a round toe leather/satin t bar strap with high skinny stiletto heels.

Colour palette: light soft neutral shades named gardenia, petal, pout and nude.
This gorgeous silk jersey crepe narrow shawl collar sculpted jacket is in the pout shade worn with a pout silk tulle/viscose fluted slip dress.

Main fabric: Light and flowing silks with texture provided by silk/metal satin and handstitched detailing.
This nude silk jersey crepe dress has added texture through its fluted pleated panel.

Silhouettes were sculpted and curvilinear.
Silver silk tulle/viscose sculpted v neck slipe dress worn with silver patent leather/satin t bar stiletto.

Deeper colours were romantically named smoke and lacquer.

Sheer panels brought sensuality in to the collection.

Accessories: skinny gold belts.
Jacquard satin shawl collar coat with a fine rose gold snake belt.

For the evening, the slip dress transformed in to a delicate long flowing gown.

All in all an intimatley romantic collection.
