INIFD present Michi Tanaka AW17 Collections at London Fashion Week

This season the India based Inter-National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) in association with The London School of Trends (LST) presents A Chaotic Romance at London Fashion Week for the Autumn Winter 2017 season with Fashion Scout. One of these designers os Michi Tanaka

Japan and its minimalistic approach to technology has been the sole inspiration for Beginning.
The limited colour palette reflects the simplicity of the collection featuring only muted tones of black, white and grey.

Inverted box pleats and double inverted box pleats, asymmetric use of fabric and leather, all combine to give the collection its unique, sharp and deconstructed aesthetic yet tailored look.

Japanese traditional embroidery known as Sashiko, has been stitched onto each garment giving the collection a slight feminine touch.

A Chaotic Romance is the result of a competition run by both institutes with over 2000 entries from across 60 premium INIFD Centres in India.
It will showcase the designs of 11 specially selected designers from India who have all been under the creative direction of Joe Toronka.
