Nicola Brindle’s ‘Essex Girl’ is reclaiming the name,
shaking off preconceptions and supporting the inspiring independence of all
women.
Brindle draws her inspiration from the strong characters of
the 70’s - glam rock goddesses Suzi Quatro and Debbie Harry and combines them
with 90s Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and the classic naughtiness of country singer Dolly Parton.
Rainbow metallics, graphic power symbols and rock & roll
text statements are used
Alongside the Venus symbol, lightning power bolts and
abstract Union Jack to portray an anarchist, feminist, fighting spirit.
Each look is designed to empower the wearer being fun,
comfortable and unique.
