Jamie Wei Huang AW18 at London Fashion Week

Titled 'To All the Hearts That Dream' AW 18 is inspired by 1990's Hong Kong, the golden era of the entertainment industry. The legendary figures of the industry revolutionised a new peak. The time was driven by courage, deep longing, and that almost young and foolish fearlessness hearts.A time that feels like it wasn't all that long ago, but the nostalgia it brings is a reminder of what's been missing now.

Jamie expresses this with a bold colour palette of reds, bright blues and yellows

Denim is fresh and youthful with frayed edges around large patch pockets and  open slits exposing the knees on loose wide leg jeans.

Corduroy shone brightly in  hot mustard yellows,

But then also was present in the usual neutral colours of tan and light blues to allow sweatshirts with open elbows and drawstrings to shine

These sweat shirts were subtly embossed with JWH AW18, initially not noticeable due to the mono colour.

.Colour block jumpers were adorned with frills or tied at the front  with woollen half belts.

Chunkier high neck jumpers were embellished with abstract designs. One of which looked like a crinkle crisp falling out of a crisp packet

Sportswear look included a tracksuit with harem style baggy pants and long kagool style coat

Tartan joined forces with denim and colourful faux fur to create patchwork jackets.

And also stood alone on a drawstring coat and kagool style jacket

The Prince of Wales check featured on the more tailored but deconstructed pieces

Accessories included double bumbags and metallic leather pouch bags embossed with JWH AW18.

Jewellery by "Fang" A London based jewellery designer and a final year student at London College of Fashion. The young rising star is developing her work by exploring sensual and organic shapes and the relationship between natural materials and sensitive techniques.
